125 artworks have been selected for the 2006 Macao Annual Art Exhibition for next year’s Macao Arts Festival. Non-selected artworks will be available for collection by their artists at the Tap Seac Gallery on November 26 and 27.
To promote local art creation and to encourage the innovation of new ideas and techniques, the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao S.A.R. Government now invites submission of entries for the 2006 Macao Annual Art Exhibition. The theme of the exhibition is “Embracing Life, Expressing the Contemporary” and the collection period is from October 28 to 30. Excellent works will be on display in the Macao Art Festival held in March 2006.
The 6th Macao Annual Art Exhibition, which aims at stimulating local artistic creativity, will have a special opening ceremony on March 24 (Friday) at the Fortress Corridor at 6:30pm. During the ceremony, "Top Ten Entries" will be announced and certificates will be awarded to the artists.
