Video production in Europe sparked the interested of the organizers of the 3rd Macau International Video Art Exhibition. They're betting on recent and rather curious works from Holland and the U.K., amongst other countries. To be held at the Macau Museum between 26 and March 28.

"It's normally politicians and historians who deal with themes like heritage, tradition and identity", explains Hanspeter Ammann, the curator of the 3rd International Video Art Exhibition, speaking on the theme chosen for this event: "Heritage and Identity".

The organization invites the public to explore the result of these artistic attempts at "visualize and illustrate the universal evidence" of past knowledge. All in order to understand the present, and thus, build a better future, as can be read in the introductory note of the program, signed by Ammann.

In the 20 video art proposals, the relationship between heritage and identity is established. A relationship present in recent works from international multimedia artists, some of which quite interesting.
