| Lampo Leong is an internationally renowned painter, calligrapher and multimedia artist, who received his BFA from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in China and MFA with High Distinction from the California College of the Arts in San Francisco/Oakland. A Ph.D. candidate at the prestigious Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, Leong is currently a tenured Associate Professor of Art at the University of Missouri-Columbia. He has also influenced thousands of students across the nation, from San Francisco to Savannah, in institutions such as University of California at Berkeley, Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, Stanford University and University of Minnesota at Twin Cities. He has served as juror for San Francisco Art Commission, Missouri State Fair Art Exhibition and Best of America national juried exhibition. |
