The Introduction to Restoration Course ?Summer 2004, organized by the Macau Museum, has ended. Combining theories with practices, the course taught students the basic techniques of the different types of cultural heritage restoration in Macau.

A group of local teachers produced eight large collages this summer to present the harmony of Chinese and Western cultures. With "Macao in the Past and Present" and "Luso-Chinese Harmony" as their themes, the works will be exhibited from August 31 on at the Macao Museum.

| Youngsters join workshops for Music Competition |

The Cultural Institute has been organizing music workshops to provide more learning opportunities for the competitors of the 22nd Macau Young Musicians Competition, to be held in early May. On April 17 and 18, four music workshops were held at the Macau Museum and the Macau Conservatorium.

| Workshop on documentary movie to be held in Macau |

A workshop on documentary movie is going to take place at the library of the Macau European Studies Institute from April 17 to May 29. In six sessions, to be held on Saturdays, this workshop is promoted by Creative Macau.

| A thousand enrol in Fukuda's workshops |

Featuring the imaginative posters created by the Japanese designer Shigeo Fukuda, the workshops have already received enrolments of over a thousand children from different schools since its opening in February.

Old Lady's Art Space will hold a visual art workshop from May 8 and will last for the coming three weekends. Children aged from six to ten are welcome to participate.
The Second Part of the course on Arts Administration will start on January 15 at the Macau Cultural Center.
The Tap Seac Gallery is promoting workshops for primary and kindergarten pupils. Named "Shigeo Fukuda's Fantastic World", these workshops run till February 29.
